Jimmero studio is where all the songs for all the studio artists were recorded, edited, mixed and mastered. Using computer based digital audio equipment, editing and mixing are very flexible. Plug-ins such as reverb and compression are available to be heard in real-time. Mastering tools are available to produce a great finished audio WAV or MP3 file.
My name is Jim Roney. I began working with multi track tape systems back in the early 80's. The versatility of this technique as a learning tool just blew me away. One can experiment with playing technique, style and harmonies. And, nothing better than the honest audio reference feedback recording yourself can provide.
Jimmero studio currently uses digi002 by Digidesign with Pro Tools LE 7.3 software, studio condenser mic's, direct input and MIDI connections for the input to the digital audio recording. Click tracks are available and suggested.
